Dr Katy Huang

Dr Katy Huang is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families at every stage of life. Dr Huang is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare, focusing on building strong, trusting relationships with her patients to help them achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Huang completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 1999. To further her expertise in maternal health, she obtained a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) in 2003. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Huang has gained extensive experience by working in various regional and metropolitan hospitals across Queensland, as well as training and practising in Sydney and Toowoomba. She has developed a diverse clinical skillset, with particular interests in preventive health, women's health, and children's health. Her practice encompasses a wide range of services, including pregnancy care, contraception, immunisations, and mental health support.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Huang believes in a holistic approach to wellness. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys painting, playing table tennis, and spending quality time with her family. To ensure accessible care for a diverse patient population, she is able to consult in multiple languages, offering clear communication and reassurance to those under her care.
