Dr Katrina White

Dr Katrina White is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who brings a wealth of international and diverse clinical experience to her practice. Originally from Canada, Dr White relocated to Australia to pursue her passion for rural general practice and emergency medicine. Her career has spanned various clinical settings, including providing essential medical care in rural outback communities and volunteering during critical emergency relief efforts. She is deeply committed to supporting her patients through all stages of life, offering a reassuring and patient-centred approach to healthcare.

With a strong focus on preventative health, Dr White actively encourages her patients to achieve optimal wellness through healthy lifestyle choices and regular exercise. She has a keen clinical interest in women's health, providing comprehensive care that encompasses fertility advice and contraception options. Dr White is highly skilled in performing specialised clinical procedures, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Dr White obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Canada, where she also achieved certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP). Upon moving to Australia, she attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to continuous professional development, she completed advanced postgraduate training in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery through the University of Queensland. She also holds a diploma from the Australasian Skin Cancer College, reflecting her high level of expertise in skin cancer medicine.
