Dr Katie Jane Gault

Dr Katie Jane Gault is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a holistic approach to medicine, she focuses on understanding the unique circumstances of each individual rather than simply treating symptoms. Dr Gault is known for her active listening skills and her dedication to patient education, ensuring that those under her care are fully informed and empowered to make decisions regarding their health and well-being.

Her diverse clinical background includes extensive work in both rural and remote settings. Dr Gault completed her General Practice Fellowship in rural Victoria, where she gained valuable experience managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions. She also spent time working with Indigenous communities in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia, which deepened her understanding of complex health issues and reinforced her commitment to providing culturally sensitive, inclusive care. Additionally, she has worked in major women's health facilities, further developing her clinical expertise.

Dr Gault completed her biomedical science degree and medical programme at the University of Melbourne, having also undertaken studies at Monash University. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further her expertise in key areas of medicine, she completed a Diploma of Obstetrics with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and holds a Diploma of Children's Health.
