Dr Katie Drewett

Dr Katie Drewett is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering reassuring and personalised medical care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. Dr Drewett believes in building strong, long-term relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Drewett completed her medical education at the University of Queensland Medical School, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007. Prior to her medical studies, she earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts. To further her expertise in paediatric care, she obtained a Diploma of Child Health. Dr Drewett is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.

With a diverse clinical background, Dr Drewett spent several years pursuing specialist training in paediatrics before transitioning to general practice, where she enjoys the broad variety of family medicine. She has a keen clinical interest in children's health, particularly the care of babies, school-aged children, and those with complex medical conditions. In addition to paediatrics, she is highly skilled in women's health and general family medicine. Her personal experience as a mother further enhances her empathetic approach, allowing her to offer practical support and understanding to families in the Brisbane area.
