Dr Kathryn Jane Dalmer

Dr Kathryn Jane Dalmer is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. As a proud Wiradjuri woman, she brings a unique and deeply holistic perspective to her clinical practice, drawing on her extensive pre-medical background as a Social Worker, Counsellor, and manager. Dr Dalmer is committed to fostering a reassuring and supportive environment where patients of all backgrounds feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Dalmer completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Wollongong, qualifying in 2018. During her medical training, she was a recipient of the prestigious Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship and actively represented her peers on the Student Representative Committee of the Australian Indigenous Doctors' Association. She is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has maintained a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and medical research.

In addition to her clinical work as a General Practitioner, Dr Dalmer is a prominent figure in medical education. She serves as the Head of Medical Education at Joint Colleges Training Services and works as a Regional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Medical Educator for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her clinical interests are broad, encompassing family medicine, psychosocial health, chronic disease management, and preventive healthcare. She is particularly passionate about Indigenous health, cultural safety, and advocating for equitable health outcomes within the community.
