Dr Katharine Squires

Dr Katharine Squires is a highly dedicated Paediatrician and Neonatologist based in East Melbourne, Victoria. With a profound passion for supporting families and caring for their youngest members, she provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. Dr Squires is committed to delivering compassionate, family-centred care, ensuring that parents feel supported and informed throughout their child's developmental and health journey.

Specialising in neonatal and perinatal paediatrics, Dr Squires has a particular interest in the care of newborns and infants. Her advanced training in neonatology equips her to manage high-risk deliveries and provide intensive care for premature neonates. Additionally, she is dedicated to offering sensitive and individualised postnatal care for full-term newborns, helping families navigate the critical early weeks of life with confidence and reassurance.

Dr Squires completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery alongside a Bachelor of Arts (MBBS/BA). She completed advanced training in Neonatology and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
