Dr Kate Tellam

Dr Kate Tellam is a compassionate and dedicated Paediatrician who manages the health, growth, and wellbeing of infants, children, and adolescents. She provides expert care for a broad range of simple and complex medical, developmental, and behavioural conditions. Dr Tellam is passionate about family-centred care, working closely with families to support children as they grow and navigate various health challenges. Her clinical approach focuses on providing continuity of care and helping each child reach their full potential.

Her areas of clinical interest include general and developmental paediatrics, with a particular focus on growth and development problems, autism, and behavioural concerns. Dr Tellam also specialises in managing chronic illnesses, designing structured, planned programmes of treatment and care tailored to each child's unique needs. She has extensive experience working in major paediatric hospitals, as well as providing vital medical services to regional and Indigenous communities.

Dr Tellam completed her medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Committed to advancing her expertise, she also obtained a Masters in Tropical Medicine and Public Health (MTMPH). She is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her high standards of clinical practice and dedication to the field of Paediatrics.
