Dr Kate Gowling

Dr Kate Gowling is a highly dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is deeply passionate about women's health. She provides comprehensive, patient-centred care that spans from fertility and pre-conception planning through to pregnancy, birth, and general gynaecological health. Dr Gowling believes in delivering personalised care that respects each patient's unique needs, ensuring women feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their healthcare journeys. Her calm, empathetic approach helps patients navigate complex medical pathways with clarity and confidence.

Dr Gowling completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences and went on to earn her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) from Flinders University in 2007. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive specialist training in both tertiary and rural South Australian medical centres. To further her expertise in reproductive health, she completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Dr Gowling is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Gowling offers expert care in both general and high-risk obstetrics, as well as comprehensive gynaecological services. She has a special interest in fertility and assisted reproduction, including in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and egg freezing. Her gynaecological practice encompasses the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and recurrent miscarriage. Additionally, she is skilled in performing minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries, cervical health screenings, and providing tailored contraception advice.
