Dr Kanwarjot Channi

Dr Kanwarjot Channi is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. Known for her thorough and reassuring approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical care that addresses both the physical and emotional well-being of her patients. Dr Channi believes in fostering strong, collaborative relationships with individuals and families, ensuring that every patient feels heard, valued, and fully informed about their treatment options.

Dr Channi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in India in 2002. Following her graduation, she relocated to Australia, where she earned her Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification in 2008. She completed her rural fellowship training in New South Wales and went on to achieve her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. To further expand her clinical capabilities, she has also undertaken advanced training in cosmetic medicine and skin procedures.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Channi focuses on key areas of family medicine, including women's health, adolescent health, and childhood immunisations. She is highly skilled in chronic disease management, mental health care, and sexual health. Additionally, Dr Channi has a strong interest in skin cancer medicine and cosmetic treatments, performing minor surgical procedures such as mole removals, skin biopsies, and excisions, as well as administering anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments.
