Dr Kamaldeep Manak

Dr Kamaldeep Manak is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Manak believes in empowering her patients to achieve optimal health and well-being by combining evidence-based medical treatments with personalised lifestyle interventions.

Dr Manak completed her medical education at the University of London, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, gaining valuable experience in General Practice, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. To further her expertise, she obtained a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, she has completed advanced training in functional medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine.

In her clinical practice, Dr Manak enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with a particular interest in women's health, children's health, and chronic disease management. She is highly skilled in providing contraception advice, cervical screening, pre-conception counselling, postnatal care, and menopausal management. Dr Manak is also passionate about lifestyle medicine and functional medicine, which allows her to synthesise the latest medical research with a model of care that integrates each patient's unique history, genetics, and lifestyle. She has a deep interest in stress management, mental health, and the physiological impacts of stress on the body, including cortisol regulation and gut health. She has also served as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, sharing her knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals.
