Dr Kabir Ahmed

Dr Kabir Ahmed is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive family medicine and primary healthcare. With a diverse clinical background spanning general medicine, chronic disease management, and emergency care, he is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred medical services. Dr Ahmed focuses on understanding each patient's unique health needs, offering tailored treatment plans and preventative health advice to support long-term well-being.

Dr Ahmed completed his primary medical degree in Bangladesh. Driven by a strong interest in scientific research and evidence-based practice, he pursued advanced postgraduate studies at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where he obtained a Master of Immunology. He also engaged in probiotic research at Massey University. Dr Ahmed is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP).

Before transitioning to general practice in Australia, Dr Ahmed gained extensive clinical experience working in internal medicine within hospital settings in New Zealand. His broad expertise allows him to manage complex medical conditions, with particular interests in allergy management, chronic care, palliative medicine, and Aboriginal health. Additionally, he supports the workforce through corporate health services, including occupational health assessments and workplace injury management.
