Dr Justin Dion Hunter

Dr Justin Dion Hunter is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a diverse clinical background that spans multiple areas of healthcare, he brings a unique depth of knowledge to his practice. Dr Hunter began his medical journey in emergency and military healthcare settings, working first as a Medic and later as a Registered Nurse in busy emergency departments. These foundational experiences in high-pressure environments shaped his clinical approach, fostering a strong commitment to delivering reassuring, high-quality care to patients from all walks of life.

Dr Hunter completed his Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Sydney before pursuing a Master of Physician Assistant Studies through the University of Queensland. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2017. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Hunter is also a member of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine, where he has successfully completed the Certificate of Dermoscopy.

In his daily practice, Dr Hunter enjoys all aspects of General Practice, offering holistic care to individuals and families. He has a particular clinical focus on dermatology and skin cancer medicine, actively pursuing further sub-specialisation in this field to provide thorough skin checks and management. As a proud Wiradjuri man, he is also deeply passionate about Indigenous health, providing culturally safe and supportive care. His broad expertise allows him to address a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns with confidence and empathy.
