Dr Julie Quinlivan

Professor Julie Quinlivan is a highly respected Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, compassionate care to women at all stages of life. With a clinical approach that is both reassuring and evidence-based, she specialises in general gynaecology as well as paediatric and adolescent gynaecology. Dr Quinlivan is dedicated to improving her patients' quality of life, utilising a holistic biopsychosocial model of management to address complex conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic pain, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Her practice encompasses a wide range of women's health services, from managing menstrual difficulties and menopause care to performing colposcopies and treating vulval and vaginal diseases.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Quinlivan is a distinguished academic, researcher, and leader in the medical community. She has served in prominent roles, including as a Professor of Medicine, a Dean of Medicine, a Director of a national regulatory body, a Chair of a clinical senate, and the Editor-in-Chief of a leading international medical journal. Dr Quinlivan completed her medical training at The University of Western Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1990. She went on to pursue further academic excellence, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Maternal Foetal Medicine from the same institution in 1999. Dr Quinlivan completed her specialist training, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1999. She is also an active member of the Australian Menopause Society, reflecting her ongoing commitment to providing up-to-date, specialised care for women navigating transitional phases of health.
