Dr John Gullotta

Dr John Gullotta is a highly respected Specialist General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, family-focused medical care. With a deep commitment to continuity of care, he supports patients through all stages of life, from childhood immunisations to adult health management. Dr Gullotta is particularly well-known for his unique expertise in delivering personalised and confidential medical care to performing artists, VIPs, and celebrities. Dr Gullotta began his professional journey by completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney in 1986, before going on to study medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours from the University of Newcastle in 1991. In 1998, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Medical Association and was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2007 for his outstanding service to medicine and professional medical associations.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Gullotta is heavily involved in medical education, leadership, and community service. He serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in General Practice at the Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney, and as an Adjunct Fellow in Pharmacy at the University of Technology Sydney, where he teaches and mentors the next generation of healthcare professionals. He has held numerous prominent leadership roles, including serving as President of the Australian Medical Association (NSW) and as a Federal Councillor.
