Dr Joanne Chew

Dr Joanne Chew is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. She believes in fostering strong, collaborative relationships with her patients, built on a foundation of trust, open communication, and mutual respect. Taking a holistic approach to healthcare, Dr Chew considers all aspects of a patient's physical, emotional, and social well-being to deliver highly personalised treatment plans.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Chew enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine. She has a particular clinical interest in women's health, mental health, and preventative medicine, focusing on helping patients achieve long-term wellness. Additionally, she is highly skilled in child health and is fully accredited to perform specific clinical procedures, including the insertion and removal of Implanon contraceptive devices. Her clinical focus also extends to general medicine and dermoscopy, allowing her to address a wide range of patient needs.

Dr Chew completed her medical training at The University of Adelaide, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, she went on to earn a Diploma of Child Health (DCH). She is also a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her advanced training and dedication to the field of General Practice.
