Dr Guerin graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 2001, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working in various hospitals across Perth, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, reflecting her advanced training and commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice.

After practising as a General Practitioner in Perth, Dr Guerin relocated to Cairns in Far North Queensland, where she continues to provide high-quality primary care to the local community. Her broad clinical experience across different healthcare systems enables her to deliver versatile and highly adaptable medical care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Throughout her career, Dr Guerin has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about Women's Health, family planning, and shared antenatal care, supporting women through every stage of their reproductive journeys. Additionally, she has extensive experience in paediatric care, mental health support, and the ongoing management of chronic diseases.
