Dr Jijo Antony is a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiologist who specialises in general cardiology and advanced echocardiography imaging. Dr Antony completed his undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Kerala in India before relocating to Australia to pursue postgraduate studies. He obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of New South Wales in 2007. Dr Antony completed his basic physician training in Brisbane and undertook advanced specialist training in Cardiology, culminating in a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He further refined his expertise by completing a dedicated two-year fellowship in echocardiography, focusing extensively on advanced imaging techniques and structural heart interventions.

With a strong clinical focus on non-invasive cardiac imaging, Dr Antony possesses extensive expertise in a wide range of diagnostic modalities. His clinical interests include stress echocardiography, 3D transoesophageal echocardiography, and the management of cardiomyopathies and heart valve diseases. He is highly experienced in providing precise intraoperative imaging guidance for complex percutaneous cardiac interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients undergoing structural heart procedures.
