Dr Jessie Khera

Dr Jessie Khera is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a strong focus on creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for individuals from all walks of life. Dr Khera is particularly known for her reassuring approach, taking the time to listen thoroughly to her patients' concerns, especially when addressing complex medical issues or mental health complaints. As a General Practitioner who values holistic well-being, she operates as a non-diet Doctor, focusing on the Health at Every Size (HAES) paradigm, and is proud to offer a breastfeeding-friendly and LGBTQIA+-welcoming environment.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Khera provides expert care across several key areas of family medicine. Her practice encompasses children's health, preventative health, and women's health, including family planning and minor procedures such as Implanon insertion and removal. She strongly believes in the importance of preventative medicine to help patients maintain long-term health and vitality. Additionally, Dr Khera has a keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest medical advancements and has previously conducted clinical research in the field of neurology.

Dr Khera obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS (Hons)) from Monash University, graduating in 2013. Following her university education, she gained valuable clinical experience working within major health services before completing her postgraduate training to achieve her fellowship. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice care.
