Dr Jessica Maree Weekes is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare. Dr Weekes obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from James Cook University. Demonstrating a strong commitment to rural medicine and advanced clinical skills, she went on to achieve a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellowship of Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP) with a surgical focus. She is an active member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, continuously updating her clinical knowledge to provide evidence-based care.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Weekes has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. Her practice encompasses comprehensive Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Women's Health, Men's Health, and Mental Health. In addition to these core areas of general practice, she has pursued extensive training in obesity management, practising as a Bariatric Medical Practitioner. In this specialised role, she provides vital pre- and post-operative support for patients undergoing weight loss surgery and offers medical weight management solutions, including the prescription of obesity medications.
