Dr Jenny Thai

Dr Jenny Thai is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on preventative medicine, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Thai thoroughly enjoys the diversity of General Practice, offering a welcoming and reassuring environment where patients can discuss their health concerns openly.

Dr Thai completed her medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. Following her university studies, she gained valuable clinical experience working across several hospitals before undertaking specialist training. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011. To further her expertise, she also completed a Diploma in Child Health and holds the Family Planning National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

In her clinical practice, Dr Thai has developed particular interests in child and adolescent health, pregnancy care, and contraception, being a certified inserter of both Implanon and intrauterine devices (IUDs). She is also highly experienced in managing menopause and perimenopause, as well as conducting comprehensive skin cancer checks and performing basic skin excisions. Beyond her direct clinical work, Dr Thai is passionate about medical education, actively teaching medical students and serving as a supervisor for General Practice Registrars.
