Dr Jennifer Shone

Dr Jennifer Shone is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a professional approach that is both reassuring and objective, she supports patients of all ages through every stage of their health journey. Dr Shone believes in fostering strong, collaborative relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard and empowered to make informed decisions about their well-being.

Dr Shone began her healthcare career as a Physiotherapist, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester. She subsequently pursued her medical training, earning her medical degree from University College London. Following this, she completed her specialist training in General Practice in the United Kingdom, obtaining her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. To further her expertise, she also completed diplomas in Child Health and Medical Education, graduating with distinction.

In her clinical practice, Dr Shone has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on Women's Health, antenatal care, Child Health, and chronic disease management. Her background in physiotherapy also gives her a unique perspective on musculoskeletal medicine. Alongside her clinical work, she is deeply involved in medical education, serving as a Senior Academic at a leading university and as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, which allows her to stay at the forefront of medical advancements and best practices.
