Dr Jason Xie

Dr Jason Xie is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. With a career spanning metropolitan and rural settings across Australia, he has developed a broad clinical perspective and a deep understanding of diverse patient needs. Dr Xie is committed to delivering patient-centred care, focusing on preventative medicine and the effective management of both acute and chronic health conditions.

Dr Xie completed his Bachelor of Medicine at Sun Yat-sen University in 1989. After relocating to Australia, he successfully obtained his Australian Medical Council certificate in 2004. He is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his high standards of clinical practice. To further diversify his treatment offerings, Dr Xie completed a Graduate Certificate in Medical Acupuncture at Monash University in 2012, becoming an accredited Medical Acupuncturist.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Xie has a strong clinical interest in skin cancer medicine and minor surgical procedures. He is skilled in performing comprehensive skin checks, mole evaluations, and the removal of skin lesions. His expertise also extends to medical acupuncture, where he utilises needle and laser therapies to assist patients with pain management and rehabilitation. As a certified provider of Antenatal Shared Care, Dr Xie supports expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.
