Dr Jason Chinnappa

Dr. Jason Chinnappa is a skilled orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in managing all conditions affecting the hips and knees in both adult and paediatric patients. Dr Chinnappa also manages common foot and ankle conditions in children and adults. He obtained his medical degree from Monash University in Melbourne and completed his orthopaedic surgery training through the AOA program in New South Wales, Australia.

With a dedication to advancing his specialisation, Dr. Chinnappa pursued subspecialty fellowships in Hip & Knee Reconstruction and Foot & Ankle Reconstruction in Sydney, as well as an international fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery in Paris, France.

Dr. Chinnappa's comprehensive training enables him to offer a wide range of treatments, including hip and knee replacements using anterior, posterior and SuperPATH approaches, hip resurfacing, and both total and partial knee replacement (navigated and robotic assisted) surgery. He specialises in reconstructive procedures such as ACL reconstruction, kneecap stabilisation, management of hip dysplasia, meniscal surgery, and ankle arthroscopy. Additionally, he performs surgeries for foot arthritis, including joint fusion procedures.
