Dr Janet Kim

Dr Janet Kim is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who specialises in integrative and functional medicine. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of chronic illnesses rather than merely managing symptoms. Dr Kim combines conventional medical practices with evidence-based complementary therapies to deliver personalised care that supports the long-term health and well-being of her patients.

Throughout her career, Dr Kim has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. As a versatile Family Physician, she is highly skilled in nutritional and environmental medicine, with a particular focus on complex conditions such as Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). Her holistic approach to healthcare is further enhanced by her expertise as a Medical Acupuncturist and her training in counselling and psychotherapy. Additionally, she has a strong interest in women's health, providing comprehensive and empathetic support for a wide range of female health concerns.

Dr Kim graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1987. Following her graduation, she completed further training to obtain a Certificate of Family Medicine Programme and a Certificate of Family Planning. Committed to expanding her therapeutic capabilities, she also earned a Diploma of Counselling Psychotherapy and a Certificate of Medical Acupuncture. In 2011, she was awarded a Fellowship of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM). She is also a certified practitioner in Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS).
