Dr Jane Crowe

Dr Jane Crowe is a highly dedicated Specialist General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a particular focus on men's health and cancer survivorship. Operating within a multidisciplinary clinical setting, she has developed a significant clinical interest in supporting patients diagnosed with prostate cancer. Dr Crowe is deeply committed to helping patients navigate the complexities of their diagnoses, offering compassionate guidance and personalised care plans that address both physical and psychological well-being.

In her clinical practice, Dr Crowe specialises in managing and monitoring the side effects of androgen deprivation therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer. She also provides expert pre-test counselling and sample collection for patients undergoing germline genomic testing. Beyond her focus on oncology and cancer survivorship, she is highly skilled in all aspects of general medicine, including preventative medicine, complex care coordination, mental health, and geriatric care. Her dedication to advancing medical knowledge is reflected in her active involvement in clinical research projects, including studies on influenza and preventative therapies.

Dr Crowe completed her medical training at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours in 1986. Committed to addressing the psychological aspects of patient care, she went on to obtain a Master of GP Psychiatry from the same institution in 2001. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Crowe is a passionate educator who serves as an Academic Tutor, teaching medical students and supervising research projects in the field of general practice.
