Dr Jamil Alayan

Dr Alayan is a specialist periodontist. They completed a clinical fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on implant surgery. Dr Alayan was also a co-investigator in a randomised clinical trial that studied the use of a new dental implant design.

Dr Alayan's research on the connection between immunology and alveolar bone loss earned them a research prize from the International Association for Dental Research. Their publication on this topic also received the Australian Periodontal Research Foundation prize.

Dr Alayan has presented lectures extensively on the subjects of implant surgery and tissue grafting.
