Dr James Robertson

Dr James Robertson is a highly regarded Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician who also practises as a General Physician. With a commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care, he focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders. Dr Robertson is dedicated to helping patients achieve better health outcomes and improved quality of life through personalised treatment plans.

Dr Robertson completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University in 2005. He subsequently undertook his advanced physician training at Monash Medical Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he developed specialised expertise in respiratory medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Robertson serves as the Chair of the Lung Cancer Multidisciplinary Team, leading a collaborative group of medical specialists to provide advanced diagnostics and co-ordinated care. His clinical interests encompass the diagnosis and management of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnoea, and interstitial lung disease. He is also highly skilled in investigating complex cases of breathlessness, prescribing home oxygen therapy, and performing advanced diagnostic procedures such as endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
