Dr James Owen

Dr James Owen is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He enjoys working across all areas of General Practice, assisting individuals and families to achieve their long-term health and wellness goals. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Owen focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships with his patients to support them through every stage of their healthcare journey.

Dr Owen obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney, graduating in 2012. Following his medical degree, he completed his specialised postgraduate training in General Practice. He is a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing professional development.

In his daily practice, Dr Owen has a particular clinical interest in Family Health Care and Family Medicine. He is passionate about preventative health, helping patients manage chronic conditions, and promoting overall well-being within the local community. Outside of his clinical work, he thoroughly enjoys living and working in the scenic Macedon Ranges region, which further inspires his dedication to community-focused healthcare.
