Dr James Hung

Dr James Hung is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. Born in Taiwan and raised in Brisbane, he brings a culturally sensitive and welcoming approach to his medical practice. Dr Hung is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring that every individual receives the attention and support they need to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Hung completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, graduating in 2007. Following his university education, he undertook extensive clinical training across several major metropolitan hospitals, gaining valuable experience in diverse medical environments. He successfully completed his specialist General Practice training in 2012. Dr Hung holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Hung enjoys all facets of family medicine. He has developed a particular clinical interest in men's health and paediatrics, allowing him to support patients through various stages of life, from early childhood development to adult wellness. His reassuring manner and thorough clinical approach help patients feel comfortable and confident in their healthcare journeys. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing futsal, watching movies, and spending quality time with his family.
