Dr Jacqueline Engelander

Dr Jacqueline Engelander is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys the diverse nature of general practice, offering a welcoming and supportive environment for patients of all backgrounds. With a clinical approach focused on preventative medicine and holistic well-being, Dr Engelander is committed to helping individuals and families manage their long-term health outcomes.

Dr Engelander completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Sydney in 2007. Prior to her medical studies, she earned a Bachelor degree in Molecular Genetics and completed an honours research year in leukaemia treatment at a leading children's cancer research institute. To further her expertise, she obtained a Masters of Public Health and Tropical/Travel Medicine (MPHTM). She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is an accredited doctor for the GP Antenatal Shared Care Programme.

Throughout her career, Dr Engelander has developed a wide range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on sexual health, HIV medicine, and travel medicine, drawing on her experience in specialised travel clinics. She is highly skilled in women's health, menopause management, and contraception, including Implanon insertion and removal. Her practice also encompasses paediatrics, skin cancer checks, women's mental health, and preventative medicine, ensuring that patients receive thorough and tailored medical guidance at every stage of life.
