Dr Jack Fu

Dr Jack Fu is a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes that listening closely to his patients and motivating them to actively improve their health is at the very heart of his medical practice. Known for his calm, focused, and reassuring manner, Dr Fu excels at managing diverse and complex medical conditions, ensuring that every individual receives the highest standard of evidence-based care.

Dr Fu grew up in New Zealand, where he completed his medical training and obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Otago in 2014. Following his graduation, he completed his internship as an Intern at a hospital on the Central Coast before relocating to Queensland to work as a Resident Doctor. During this time, he gained valuable clinical experience across emergency medicine, cardiology, and palliative care. Dr Fu was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019, qualifying him as a Specialist General Practitioner.

In addition to his broad expertise in General Practice, Dr Fu has a strong clinical interest in skin cancer medicine and skin surveillance. He has undertaken advanced training with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, achieving accreditation in both the diagnosis and advanced surgical management of skin cancer. Committed to continuous professional development, he is also a candidate for the Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest advancements in dermatological care.
