Dr. Ivan Aw

Dr. Ivan Aw is a highly qualified and dedicated Consultant Urologist based in Midland, Western Australia. He provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of both benign and malignant urological conditions. Known for his reassuring and professional approach, Dr. Aw is committed to delivering personalised treatment plans that focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for his adult patients. He has a particular interest in utilising advanced, minimally invasive techniques to ensure faster recovery times and minimal discomfort.

Dr. Aw completed his medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne in 2009. Following several years of foundational training as a General Surgeon, he undertook specialist training as a Urologist across multiple major healthcare centres in Victoria. In 2019, he completed a highly specialised Uro-Oncology Fellowship in Victoria, focusing on complex stone procedures and minimally invasive cancer surgeries. Dr. Aw is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), reflecting his adherence to the highest standards of surgical practice and clinical excellence.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Aw focuses on the management of urological cancers, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, utilising state-of-the-art robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques. He also manages general urological issues, such as simple and complex renal stone disease and benign prostatic enlargement. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Aw is deeply committed to academic research and education.
