Dr Indira Datta

Dr Indira Datta is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare to patients at all stages of life. With a patient-centred approach, she works in partnership with individuals to improve their overall health and well-being. Dr Datta is passionate about delivering high-quality care across a broad spectrum of medicine, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring support tailored to their unique needs.

Dr Datta completed her medical degree and a Master of Public Health at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2012. Committed to continuous professional development, she also holds a Diploma of Child Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her high standards of clinical practice and dedication to the field of family medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr Datta has gained valuable clinical experience, including working at a major metropolitan hospital before transitioning to general practice. She has a strong interest in medical education, contributing her expertise as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and participating as an Admissions Interviewer for university medical programmes. Additionally, she serves as a Clinical Teaching Visitor, helping to train and mentor junior doctors who are training to be General Practitioners. She is also a recognised Antenatal Shared Care Provider with several metropolitan hospitals.
