Dr Ian Cram

Dr Ian Cram is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is committed to the assessment, management, and ongoing care of a broad range of chronic medical conditions. With a focus on understanding the unique health issues and needs of his patients, particularly the increasingly elderly population, Dr Cram aims to deliver systematic and proactive healthcare. He places a strong emphasis on the secondary prevention of age-related issues, such as falls and osteoporotic fractures, while actively encouraging patient self-management and coordinated care.

In his clinical practice, Dr Cram has developed a particular interest in musculoskeletal conditions, skin conditions, and skin cancers, including melanoma. He also provides care for vision and hearing conditions. Believing in the power of collaborative healthcare, he works closely with Allied Health Practitioners, including Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, and Exercise Physiologists. To ensure his patients receive the most comprehensive care possible, Dr Cram regularly refers to and liaises with medical specialists, including Rheumatologists, Dermatologists, Neurologists, Immunologists, Neurosurgeons, and Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr Cram holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Committed to advancing his clinical knowledge, he has also obtained a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine (DipMSK) and a Master of Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine. These advanced qualifications reflect his dedication to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and providing specialised care in his role as a General Practitioner. He is also mindful of the need for clarity and careful explanation when motivating and negotiating treatment options with his patients.
