Dr Ian Chung is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a deep commitment to supporting his patients' overall well-being, he focuses on delivering personalised medical solutions that help individuals achieve their long-term health and lifestyle goals. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Chung has developed a profound interest in psychological medicine and mental health. He is particularly skilled in clinical hypnosis and has dedicated a significant portion of his practice to supporting patients navigating complex mental health challenges, stress, and behavioural concerns. His clinical focus also extends to community-based medicine, where he has worked extensively to assist vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness and individuals facing alcohol and drug-related dependencies.

Dr Chung graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney in 1963. Committed to expanding his clinical expertise, he later completed a Master of Psychiatry in 2008. He is an accredited Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds life membership with the college. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to medicine, the law, and the community, Dr Chung was awarded the prestigious Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2020. He has also contributed to the wider medical profession as a Medical Educator, a Peer Reviewer, and a Member of the state medical board.
