Dr Hugh Stephen Winters

Dr Hugh Winters is an experienced Neurologist based at CURA Medical Specialists. He completed his medical degree at the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2007 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016. He later completed his specialist training in neurology recognised by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Interventional Neuroradiology (CCINR). Dr Winters also completed four additional years of training in interventional neurology, including a fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at the Erlanger Medical Center in Tennessee, United States. Dr Winters specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, aneurysms, idiopathic intracranial hypertension and other neurovascular conditions. He has expertise in the use of minimally invasive, image-guided techniques, including minimally invasive corticosteroid spinal injections for back and neck pain. He also has experience in treating general neurological conditions, including headaches and migraines.
