Mr Ho Wah Ng

Mr Ho Wah Ng is a highly qualified and dedicated Optometrist who provides comprehensive, patient-focused eye care. With a strong commitment to making high-quality eye care accessible and affordable, he has built a reputation for clinical excellence and reassuring patient support. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of optometric services, with a particular focus on advanced contact lens fittings, the management of complex eye conditions, and occupational vision assessments.

Mr Ho Wah Ng completed his Bachelor of Optometry at the University of Melbourne in 2008, graduating as part of one of the first cohorts to obtain eye medication prescribing rights. He subsequently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Optometry at the University of Melbourne in 2010. To further refine his clinical skills, he undertook a year-long research project in myopia development, completed an international externship at a prestigious college of optometry in Chicago, and undertook a clinical residency focusing on contact lenses, low vision, and paediatrics. He is registered with the Optometry Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is an active member of Optometry Australia. He is also qualified as an Ophthalmic Medicines Prescriber and an Aviation Credentialed Optometrist with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

Throughout his career, Mr Ho Wah Ng has gained extensive experience working in both public health and specialist clinical settings. He has a deep interest in managing complex corneal conditions, such as keratoconus, as well as post-graft eyes and traumatic eye injuries, utilising custom, rigid, and miniscleral contact lenses. His expertise also extends to glaucoma management, colour vision, and occupational assessments, including aviation eye medicals. By utilising advanced ocular imaging technologies, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT) scanning and retinal photography, he ensures that early detection and precise management of eye diseases are central to his patient care.
