Dr Hla Theingi

Dr Hla Theingi is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Driven by the holistic nature of family medicine, she focuses on delivering high-quality healthcare to individuals and families across all age groups and backgrounds. Dr Theingi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Medical University in Yangon, Myanmar, where she also completed her initial internship. She subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom, where she undertook extensive training across a diverse range of medical specialties. Dr Theingi completed her specialist General Practice training in the United Kingdom, achieving her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and attaining her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2015. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Theingi has gained valuable clinical experience working in various medical and surgical departments, including respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, oncology, colorectal surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine. This broad foundation enables her to manage complex health conditions with confidence. Her primary areas of clinical interest include chronic disease management, women's health, joint injections, and minor surgical procedures.
