Dr Himabindu Samardhi

Dr Samardhi is a Clinical Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist. They pursued undergraduate medical training in the UK where they completed their MRCP (UK). They moved to Australia where they completed their basic medical training. They underwent advanced training in Cardiology followed by a fellowship in advanced echocardiography and another fellowship year in Cardiac Electrophysiology and pacing. They then completed Electrophysiology training with a two-year fellowship at The University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Canada. Their interests include all aspects of Electrophysiology in tertiary care, inclusive of complex ablations for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, device implantation and inherited heart rhythm disorders. They remain actively involved in all aspects of general cardiology and have a very keen interest in teaching and mentoring.
