Dr Heather Knox

Dr Heather Knox is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply passionate about all aspects of family medicine. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering comprehensive, high-quality care that empowers individuals throughout their health journeys. Dr Knox is committed to fostering a reassuring and supportive environment, ensuring that every patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Throughout her career, Dr Knox has developed key clinical interests in women's health, psychological medicine, and chronic disease management. She is highly regarded for her expertise in providing Antenatal Shared Care, collaborating closely with major public hospitals to support expectant mothers. In addition to her clinical practice, she is actively involved in medical education, finding great fulfilment in teaching and mentoring the next generation of Medical Students, Junior Medical Officers, and General Practice Registrars.

Dr Knox obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney, graduating in 1993. Following her graduation, she gained extensive clinical experience working across various metropolitan and regional hospitals before completing her specialist General Practice training. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Beyond her clinical and teaching roles, Dr Knox contributes to the broader medical community through her regulatory work, serving on panels for the Professional Services Review and the state medical council.
