Dr Gretel Davidson

Dr Gretel Davidson is a dual-qualified Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. They studied medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating with Honours. Dr Davidson completed training in Anaesthesia at the Prince of Wales/Sydney Children's Hospital and completed subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at the Michael J Cousins Pain Management and Research Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital, and at the Children's Hospital Westmead.

Dr Davidson has worked as a Consultant Anaesthetist since 2005. They have also served as Head of the Acute Pain Service at Sydney Children's Hospital. Dr Davidson has a keen interest in teaching and is an Instructor in Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS). They have also travelled to the Philippines yearly since 2014 to participate in volunteer surgical missions. As a Pain Medicine Specialist, their particular interest is the management of complex pain in children, adolescents and young adults.
