Dr Giuseppe Femia

Dr Giuseppe Femia is a highly qualified and compassionate Cardiologist who is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centred care. As an Interventional Cardiologist and Cardiac Device Cardiologist, he utilises cutting-edge techniques to support patients experiencing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. His clinical approach is defined by a deep commitment to empathy, respect, and evidence-based treatment, ensuring that each patient receives a personalised care plan tailored to their unique health needs.

Dr Femia completed his Bachelor of Science with Honours and graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He undertook his specialist cardiology training and subsequently completed advanced sub-speciality fellowship training in interventional cardiology and cardiac device implantation. Furthering his expertise, he completed a level III Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance fellowship and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Sydney. Dr Femia is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Femia is deeply passionate about medical research and education. He serves as a Conjoint Lecturer, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals, and works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in cardiac magnetic resonance. His academic contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications in prestigious medical journals. Through his ongoing research and teaching, Dr Femia remains at the forefront of cardiovascular medicine, integrating the latest scientific advancements directly into his patient care.
