Dr Gavin Sacks

Dr Gavin Sacks is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. They have obtained fellowship of both the UK and Australian and New Zealand Royal Colleges of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Dr Sacks has over 30 publications in the fields of pregnancy, immunology, infertility, miscarriage and pre-eclampsia.

They are currently investigating the role of natural killer cells in miscarriage, infertility and IVF. Dr Sacks is a conjoint senior lecturer at UNSW as well as a regular lecturer at national and international meetings.

Their particular interests are IVF, unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage and surgical treatment of infertility. Dr Sacks qualified from the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford and received a PhD in reproductive immunology at the University of Oxford.
