Dr Gauguin Gamboa

Dr. Gauguin Gamboa is a highly accomplished Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon focusing on advanced hip and knee surgery. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science from the University of the Philippines, completing his primary orthopaedic residency at Philippine General Hospital. He graduated from his orthopaedic training with top honours, receiving the prestigious "Chairman's Cup" in 2004 before passing his national board fellowship examinations as the gold medalist and national "topnotcher" in 2005.

Following his initial training, Dr. Gamboa completed a specialised subspecialty fellowship in Bone and Cartilage Transplantation and Joint Revision Surgery in Brisbane. After practicing in Toowoomba, he successfully attained his Australian Fellowship (FRACS) in 2009 and transitioned into private practice, establishing himself as the Principal of Queensland Hips & Knees with a long-standing, dedicated clinical presence across the Greater Brisbane area.

His practice is defined by a commitment to using state-of-the-art technology to optimise patient recovery and joint longevity, incorporating advanced robotic-assisted systems for joint replacements.
