Dr Garret Robles

Dr Garret Robles is a highly accomplished and compassionate Dentist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive oral healthcare. With a strong focus on paediatric dentistry, special needs dentistry, and community oral health, he has established himself as a pioneering practitioner committed to making high-quality dental care accessible to all. Dr Robles is particularly known for his gentle and reassuring approach, which helps to ease the anxieties of young, fearful, or vulnerable patients during their dental visits.

His clinical interests span a wide range of dental services, with a particular emphasis on supporting children with additional needs, autism, developmental delays, and complex medical conditions. Dr Robles is highly skilled in managing severe dental anxiety in both children and adults, utilising sedation techniques such as relative analgesia (happy gas) to ensure a comfortable experience. His expertise also extends to special care dentistry, including wheelchair-based and bariatric dental treatments, as well as providing essential bedside care for elderly patients. Additionally, he is deeply passionate about community dentistry and has been actively involved in mobile outreach programmes to deliver vital dental services to regional and remote communities.

Dr Robles completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of the Philippines, graduating with distinction after achieving the top rank in the 2001 Philippine Dental Board Examinations. In 2002, he pursued postgraduate training in Paediatric Dentistry at a major paediatric medical centre in the Philippines. After relocating to Australia, he successfully completed his Australian Dental Council Certificate. Dr Robles has also contributed to the academic community, serving as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Dentistry at a leading Australian university and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Paediatric and Community Dentistry. He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Australian Dental Association and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry.
