Dr Fanny Lie

Dr Fanny Lie is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Initially drawn to a career in surgery, she discovered a deeper sense of professional fulfilment in General Practice, where she can build lasting relationships with patients and support them through all stages of life. Dr Lie is known for her reassuring and thorough approach, ensuring that every patient feels heard, valued, and actively involved in their own healthcare journey.

Before transitioning to family medicine, Dr Lie built a robust clinical foundation through diverse roles in major metropolitan healthcare settings. Her extensive background includes serving as a Trauma Registrar and working within busy paediatric emergency departments, which equipped her with critical skills in managing acute medical situations. In addition to her clinical work, she has contributed to the medical community by teaching undergraduate medical students and participating in volunteer medical initiatives overseas.

Dr Lie completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Melbourne in 2006, alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science. Committed to broadening her clinical expertise, she also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Anaesthetics. Dr Lie achieved her professional Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018. She maintains active professional memberships to ensure her practice remains aligned with the latest advancements in primary care.
