Dr Ebru Efem is a dedicated and highly qualified Optometrist and Orthoptist based in Greenvale, Victoria. Dr Efem completed her initial academic training at La Trobe University, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Orthoptics in 2016. She further advanced her clinical capabilities at Deakin University, obtaining a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Master of Optometry with ocular therapeutics in 2020. This extensive educational background equips her with a deep understanding of both orthoptic therapy and advanced optometric care, allowing her to prescribe therapeutic medications for various ocular conditions.

Throughout her career, Dr Efem has gained invaluable experience working alongside leading Ophthalmologists across various sub-specialties, including oculoplastics, glaucoma, retinal disease, and paediatrics. She has also spent significant time working as a Paediatric Orthoptist at a major children's hospital in Melbourne, as well as consulting in private optometry clinics. Her primary areas of clinical interest include children's vision, with a particular focus on the management of myopia, strabismus, and amblyopia.
