Dr Douglass Wheen

Dr Douglass Wheen is a General Surgeon and Hand Surgeon. Dr Wheen is an Australian-based health professional.

Dr Wheen has published internationally on topics such as glomus tumours, scaphoid fractures, tendon grafts and rheumatoid arthritis in the hand, and has contributed chapters to several textbooks of Hand Surgery and Hand Therapy. Dr Wheen has regularly delivered scientific papers at state, national and international hand surgery conferences.

Dr Wheen was a VMO hand surgeon at the Sydney Hospital Hand Unit. Dr Wheen is the immediate past Director of both the Sydney and St Luke's Hospital Hand Units.
