Dr Deepani Peiris

Dr Deepani Peiris is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a holistic approach to healthcare, she focuses on making a positive impact on the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of her patients. Dr Peiris believes in building strong, trusting relationships with individuals and families, ensuring they feel supported and reassured throughout their medical journeys.

Dr Peiris obtained her medical degree from Beijing Medical University in China, qualifying in 1987. Following her graduation, she pursued further postgraduate training and successfully attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she has also completed a Diploma in Child Health, a Diploma of Obstetrics, and a Diploma of Emergency Medicine.

In her general practice, Dr Peiris specialises in a diverse range of clinical areas. She is particularly passionate about women's health, children's health, and emergency medicine. Her broad expertise also encompasses family medicine, child immunisations, and dermatology, allowing her to address a wide array of healthcare needs for patients of all ages.
