Dr Debbie Lenko

Dr Debbie Lenko is a dedicated General Paediatrician who provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. She is highly skilled in managing both common childhood conditions and complex medical issues, supporting young patients from birth through to their teenage years. Dr Lenko is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and grow into confident, happy adults. She believes in a holistic, team-oriented approach to paediatric care, working closely with families, educators, and allied health professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child.

With a strong focus on developmental and behavioural concerns, Dr Lenko has a particular interest in helping families navigate challenges such as learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and difficult behaviours. Her clinical expertise also extends to a wide range of common paediatric conditions, including eczema, asthma, hay fever, bedwetting, constipation, growth and feeding issues, and unsettled babies. She is committed to providing personalised, compassionate care that recognises the unique strengths and needs of each individual child.

Dr Lenko completed her medical degree with honours at a leading university in Melbourne. She undertook the majority of her specialist paediatric training across prominent tertiary children's hospitals in Victoria, gaining extensive experience in general medicine, developmental medicine, and community child health. To further broaden her clinical expertise, she spent time working at a major hospital in the Northern Territory, where she managed complex infectious diseases, respiratory conditions, and growth issues. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as an honorary Consultant at a prominent community child health centre, contributing her expertise to broader paediatric healthcare initiatives.
